Laundry Aide-Part Time

Job Title: Part-Time Weekend Laundry Aide
Schedule: Weekends Only

Position Summary:
We're looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Laundry Aide to join our team on weekends.

This role ensures our residents have clean, well-maintained linens and clothing to support their comfort and care.

Key Responsibilities:


* Ensure a steady supply of clean linens is available for resident care.


* Inspect linens for damage or stains and remove unusable items from service.


* Collect soiled laundry from resident rooms daily or as needed.


* Label clothing for new residents as required.


* Sort, treat, wash, dry, and fold resident clothing and facility linens.


* Deliver clean laundry back to resident rooms in a timely manner.


* Follow all sanitation and infection control procedures.


* Monitor laundry supply inventory and notify supervisor when items are needed.


* Operate laundry equipment safely and report any malfunctions to the Administrator.

Qualifications:


* High school diploma or GED required.


* Prior laundry, housekeeping, or related experience preferred (1 year).


* Basic reading and math skills to follow instructions and safety procedures.


* Problem-solving skills and willingness to seek help when needed.

Physical Requirements:


* Must be able to lift/move up to 50 pounds occasionally.


* Frequent standing, walking, and use of industrial laundry machines.


* Ability to perform tasks in a moderately noisy environment.

Work Environment:


* Primarily indoors in a laundry/housekeeping setting.


* Low to moderate noise levels.

* This role has no supervisory responsibilities.


* Duties and responsibilities may change based on operational needs.
