Main areas of responsibility:
Represents Johnson and Johnson Vision Surgical (JJVS) Capital Products to appropriate customer base within a designated geographical area, placing major emphasis on increasing the adoption of equipment that includes Phaco, LCS, Femto, Excimer and Aberrometer technologies.
Assigned sales goals are achieved through creative, consultative selling and implementation of the U.S.
marketing plans.
The Capital Sales Specialist provides technical product knowledge and in-service support to ensure customer satisfaction.
The Capital Sales Specialist will utilize the local JJVS Account Executive, Key Account Executive, Premium Practice Specialist, and Corporate Accounts Representatives to enhance productivity, create and solidify key relationships, and ultimately enhance the selling process.
Works synergistically with all other JJVS sales personnel in co-selling efforts to strengthen JJVS customer value.
Will be in the OR roughly 75% of the time working hand-in-hand with Ophthalmologists on surgical technique, efficiency, and all aspect of cataract and refractive surgery to enhance patient safety and to play a key role in getting the surgeon to experience desired outcomes.
Complies with required reports and requests.
* Responsible for all capital sales of JJSV portfolio and achieving sales quota.
