Customer Care Specialist
PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
The Customer Care Specialist serves as the primary point of contact to cross-divisional teams and customers to ensure efficient and effective customer service operations within the assigned function(s). The incumbent is responsible for providing timely and accurate communication on diverse customer service issues and/or questions on an ongoing basis.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Ensure data accuracy and integrity of all applicable documentation within the assigned function(s) in compliance with company policies and procedures.
* Process customer requests; inputting patient information and demographic data in applicable systems as required.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for patients and/or healthcare providers to ensure the facilitation of diverse customer requests; collaborating with cross-divisional teams in the coordination of customer service orders in a timely and accurate manner.
* Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) by supporting cross-divisional teams on diverse customer service issues within the assigned function(s); collaborating with cross-divisional teams as necessary.
* Support the training of additional staff to ensure customer service operations are in compliance with company policies and procedures.
* Mentor other staff as applicable.
* Assist with various projects as assigned by direct supervisor.

EDUCATION:
High School Diploma required; Associate's Degree desirable; and Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred
EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:
* 4 - 6 years' related experience.
* Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification or ability to successfully pass the PTCB examination required.
* Meet necessary current pharmacy technician requirements.
* Strong computer skills with advanced proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet and email applications.
* Detail oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills.
* Adaptable to a fast-paced environment with the ability to multitask concurrent priorities in an organized manner.
