Director of Construction Sales

What will you do?



* Lead and coach a team of sales professionals serving contractors, consulting engineers, and distributors.


* Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with national goals.


* Act as the face of Schneider Electric in the market-building executive relationships and guiding complex pursuits.


* Analyze market trends and identify growth opportunities.


* Collaborate cross-functionally to drive customer satisfaction and business success.


* Contribute to national sales strategy and initiatives.

What do you bring?



* Proven leadership in construction or contracting sales, with a track record of coaching high-performing teams.


* Deep knowledge of electrical distribution, digital technologies, and automation solutions.


* Strong industry presence and ability to build executive-level relationships.


* Experience with CRM systems, forecasting, and KPI-driven performance management.


* A hands-on leader who balances strategic vision with active engagement in day-to-day sales efforts.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?



* University or College degree (MBA is an asset).


* 3+ years in senior sales leadership roles.


* Background in Electrical Engineering or related field.


* Financial acumen and business planning experience.


* Ability and willingness to travel approx.

15-20% outside of GTA, including occasional overnight trips across Canada and North America.
