A little taste of your day-to-day:


* In the absence of a manager, conducts shift briefings to ensure hotel activities and operational requirements are known.


* Endeavour to resolve all complaints during shift and logs all complaints in log book for further follow up.


* Supervise cash handling and banking procedures.


* Prepare daily banking and cash flow reports.


* Establish and instruct staff in cash security procedures.


* Tackle irregular payments.


* Supervise the maintenance of service equipment.


* Monitor standards of guest facilities and services.


* Control stock and monitor security procedures.


* Assist with menu and wine list creation.


* Monitoring mini bar in the rooms regularly.


* Inspecting storage areas for organization and proper use of FIFO.


* Supervise outlet service.


* May assist with other duties as assigned.

What we need from you:



* Communication skills – guests and colleagues will need to come to you with concerns as well as compliments, so you’ll be easy to talk to.


* Planning and analyses making skills.


* Fluency in the English language - extra language skills would be great, but not essential.


* Your Time management skills will be important to know how to prioritize tasks under pressure.


* You’ll have basic skills of Microsoft Word/Excel.
