Role Overview:

The Asia Pacific (AP) Market Access Policy Director will lead regional efforts to shape healthcare access policy in support of innovation and sustainable patient access to innovative healthcare solutions.

This strategic role bridges internal and external stakeholders, driving policy alignment, advocacy, and environmental intelligence across AP markets.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Policy Leadership


* Serve as the AP lead for market access policy, focusing on value of health, value assessment frameworks, healthcare funding, and allocation strategies.


* Ensure a holistic, region-wide view of access policy priorities and shaping efforts.

Stakeholder Engagement & Advocacy


* Collaborate with OpCo market access and policy teams, and other functions to identify and address policy barriers across key disease areas.


* Coordinate and align third-party engagement across AP, including industry groups (e.g., PhRMA), trade associations, patient organizations, and government bodies.


* Develop clear, evidence-based policy positions, submissions, letters, and advocacy tools tailored to diverse audiences.

Access Environmental Intelligence & Business Integration


* Monitor and analyze public sources and policy alerts for emerging access policy trends impacting J&J’s business.


* Integrate policy insights into long-range financial planning, business development, and evidence generation strategies.


* Partner with global stakeholders to shape company-wide access policy positions and support external industry alignment.

Internal Collaboration


* Provide regional support to the Value Framework, HTA Forum and Access & Policy Council.


* Work closely with cross-functional teams locally, regionally, and globally to ensure coordinated policy shaping efforts.

Qualifications:


* Bachelor’s or advanced degree in commerce, economics, international trade, political science, or related field.
