Inventory/Purchasing Coordinator: Contract Position

Prepare purchase orders to maintain planned inventory levels of operating supplies and spare parts.

Also prepares purchase orders for non-stock purchases and services.

Performs job functions in compliance with corporate safety standards and in support of the corporate quality policy and key quality objectives.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities


* Maintain the Acumatica Cloud ERP purchasing and inventory module files on purchase orders.


* Maintain open and closed files of printed purchasing orders and requisitions as appropriate.


* Place orders with suppliers to obtain the best material quality, prices, deliveries, and services in compliance with company objectives.


* Expedite and de-expedite orders to maintain on-time delivery of products.


* Research and qualify second sources to ensure adequate supply of materials for production activities.


* Unload shipments, remove packaging, count, inspect, and record receipts.


* Store parts on shelves and bins as required, package and document outbound shipments as necessary.


* Perform physical cycle counts of inventory as required and complete necessary inventory adjustments in Acumatica Cloud ERP.

Education & Experience


* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in supply chain management, business administration, or related field preferred.


* 1-3 years of experience in purchasing, inventory control, or a related field preferred.


* Experience with ERP systems (Acumatica experience a plus).

Skills


* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.


* Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.


* Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.


* Basic understanding of procurement practices and vendor management.


* Familiarity with inventory control methods and ERP systems.


* Knowledge of supply chain processes.


* Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).


* Effective written and verbal communication skills.


* Data entry and recordkeeping skills.

ITAR/EAR and Other Requirements


* Must be a U.S.

Person as defined by ITAR (U.S.

Citizen, U.S.

Permanent Resident, or protected individual).


* Compliance with all applicable export control regulations.

Working Conditions


* Primarily works in an indoor warehouse and office environment.


* May require occasional work in non-climate-controlled areas.


* Regular weekday schedule; occasional overtime or weekend work during peak operational periods.

Physical Requirements


* Standing: up to 4-6 hours per day.


* Sitting: up to 4-6 hours per day.


* Frequent bending, stooping, and reaching.
