General Purpose of Job

The Director of Key Accounts, Field Services & Program Development provides forward-thinking leadership and strategic direction for a diverse portfolio of innovative, member-focused services at the cooperative.

This position oversees the Cooperative's Key Account program, Field/Energy Services, Business Community Relations/Economic Development initiatives, and Revenue Programs-including energy audits, conservation and electrification strategies, load management, solar integration, and surge protection services.

The Director also leads marketing and community outreach efforts to strengthen the Cooperative's brand, drive member engagement, and support strategic growth across residential, commercial, and industrial segments.

With a strong emphasis on sustainability, energy innovation, and the deployment of emerging technologies, this role plays a critical part in helping the Cooperative and its members navigate the evolving energy landscape.

The Director is responsible for managing the Key Account Consultant Supervisor, Field/Energy Services Manager, and Surge Protection Supervisor, while working cross-functionally to implement data-driven solutions that improve operational efficiency, support adoption of energy innovation solutions, and align with the Cooperative's long-term power supply strategy.

The Director of Key Accounts, Field Services & Program Development serves as a key collaborator and visionary in driving initiatives that enhance member satisfaction, increase community value, and reinforce the Cooperative's commitment to innovation and environmental stewardship.

Requirements

Education



* Minimum: Bachelor's degree in Energy Management, Business Administration or related field


* Job-related experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.

Experience



* Minimum: Six (6) years of electric utility experience in commercial energy, key account management, energy efficiency and energy auditing.


* Minimum: Two (2) years' experience in a supervisory or leadership capacity.


* Preferred: Certified Energy Manager (CEM), Certified Key Accounts Executive (CKAE) certifications or equivalent.

Other Requirement



* Ability to work irregular hours for assignment completion and flexibility to change scheduling and report to work on short notice during emergency situations.
