Work Schedule:

Full time 1.0 FTE.

Monday - Friday with variable start times.

Weekend coverage occasionally as needed to support the team.

Supports coverage at 5 locations within the Madison, WI area.

Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking a Supervisor, Cardiovascular Sonography to:


* Motivate, lead others and share knowledge to provide advanced training to current Cardiac and Vascular Sonographers and new staff members.


* Collaborate between programs to cultivate a dynamic and high functioning team that focuses on providing an optimal cardiovascular imaging experience.


* Assume a daily leadership role and demonstrate advanced knowledge and skill in all applicable clinical settings.


* Suggest changes in procedures, policies, and quality improvement, as well as coordinate training and development of the Imaging Specialists and keep them advised of technological changes.


* Collaborate with clinicians, care team leaders, staff nurses, other disciplines and patients/families to develop, implement, and evaluate a plan of care and a positive experience to all patients, families and visitors.


* Support in the development and coordination of new programs and cutting-edge technology and procedures utilizing ultrasound imaging .


* The team supports a robust structural heart program .

The procedures include transcatheter aortic and mitral valve replacements, Watchman and MitraClip implantation and alcohol septal ablation procedures.


* Lead in a Cardiovascular Imaging Lab that is accredited by the IAC - in both Echo and Vascular Imaging at a variety of locations, including a Level 1 Trauma Center, critical care facility and several clinics in the Madison area

Qualifications



* Bachelor's Degree in Ultrasound, Radiology, Biological Sciences, or relevant health services field Preferred


* Master's Degree in business administration, healthcare management or related care management field Preferred
