As a Vice President in the Applied AI/ML team, you will tackle exciting business challenges for JPMorgan's Global Banking business.

You will lead a team dedicated to innovation, fostering a culture of accountability and growth within a global organization.

Your role will involve strategic planning, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and hands-on technical development to drive impactful global business initiatives.

Job responsibilities:


* Serve as a local leader within our AI/ML team, driving innovation and fostering growth.


* Mentor and develop team members, promoting an inclusive environment.


* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to set technical visions and execute strategic roadmaps.


* Manage AI/ML projects using Agile methodology, ensuring timely delivery.


* Design experiments, implement algorithms, and productionize scalable solutions.


* Contribute to firm-wide machine learning communities through patent filings and publications.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:


* 10+ years (BS), 8+ years (MS), or 5+ years (PhD) in Computer Science, Data Science, or equivalent fields.


* Proven track record of managing AI/ML teams and developing production solutions.


* Strong programming skills in Python, including advanced concepts.


* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on data structures and algorithms.


* Hands-on experience in coding and solution design from scratch.


* Familiarity with AWS Cloud services such as EMR and SageMaker.


* Strong people management and team-building skills.
