Position Summary:
Las Colinas Post Acute is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team on a per diem basis.

The PTA will assist in providing quality physical therapy services under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, helping patients maximize mobility, function, and quality of life in a skilled nursing and post-acute care setting.

Key Responsibilities:


* Carry out treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist


* Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, functional activities, and mobility training


* Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising PT


* Provide patient and family education as directed


* Document treatments and patient responses in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements Nethealth and Point Click Care systems.


* Ensure compliance with professional standards, facility policies, and applicable regulations

Qualifications:


* Current, valid California Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License


* Graduate of an accredited PTA program


* CPR certification (required)


* Experience in skilled nursing or post-acute care preferred


* Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team
