RN-Director of Nursing

Brookdale Asheville Overlook is currently seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as our Health & Wellness Director (Director of Nursing).

In this leadership role, you'll be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day clinical operations of our 42-bed assisted living community, ensuring that residents receive high-quality, individualized care in a safe and supportive environment.


* Manage and supervise clinical operations, including assessments, care planning, and medication administration.


* Ensure compliance with all state and federal healthcare regulations.


* Collaborate with physicians, families, and team members to coordinate resident care.


* Provide leadership, training, and support to nursing and caregiving staff.


* Serve as part of the on-call rotation to support community needs outside of regular hours.

About the Director of Nursing Position

As Director of Nursing at Brookdale, you will utilize your leadership qualities to inspire, lead and manage the overall operation of the clinical team to provide the highest quality of care and services for our residents.

You will proactively build relationships with residents, families, physicians and other healthcare providers for the coordination of exceptional personalized care.

You will consistently collaborate with community leadership, mentor and engage your associates and build resident and family satisfaction.

Qualifications & Skills


* Education as required to obtain state nursing license and state nursing license (LPN/LVN or RN)


* Driver's license


* Minimum of 3 years relevant experience, and Clinical leadership experience preferred.


* Strong working knowledge of technology, proficiency in Microsoft office suite and electronic documentation.
