Job Description:

Acts independently to facilitate programs and innovative initiatives for the organization to advance Clinical Sales - Surgeons capabilities.
Works to achieve operational, functional, and business targets with measurable impact on results for the Clinical Sales - Surgeons area.
Conducts advanced analyses of trends and the competitive landscape to continually improve the organization's Clinical Sales - Surgeons strategy.
Partners with sales leadership to identify quota credit or pay discrepancies.
Updates sales audit database by entering, verifying, and securing data.
Exhibits and applies vast understanding of the changing market dynamics, utilizing metrics/numbers to gauge overall performance in addition to strong business & financial acumen to assess the needs and priorities of the broader business.
Excellent listening, written, and oral communications and organizational skills, with the ability to make strong sales presentations.
Establishes relationships with key surgeons to drive collaboration, leveraging potential sales opportunities through learning centers to maximize opportunities available through solutions.
Guides junior colleagues through consultation and mentoring in techniques and processes, and provides functional (matrix) supervision.
Integrates Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives into team goals and decision making.

The Associate Director, Physician Program Development, Japan, focuses on establishing formal Impella programs through sustainable relationships with account stakeholders and key opinion leaders (KOLs) in within the field of hemodynamic support.  The Physician Program Director represents all aspects of Abiomed and acts as a field liaison to connect hospitals to internal resources such as the medical office, research, marketing, and executive teams.  The PPD will be responsible for partnering with hospitals to identify areas for program growth through best practice implementation, protocol development and workflow improvement.

The PPD will also support the commercial organization with peer-to-peer programs to translate clinical and program best practices.
