461008 Capital Asset Analyst

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Under the general direction of the Projects and Grants Finance Manager, the Capital Asset Analyst is responsible for overseeing the capital assets function across the Authority.

This position involves asset tracking and creating and maintaining records for capital asset acquisitions, retirements, and transfers within the Capital Asset system.

The analyst will calculate monthly depreciation, perform annual physical inventory counts, and reconcile asset modules with the General Ledger, while continuously reviewing and improving asset tracking processes for enhanced efficiency and accuracy.
