* Willing to learn or have a working knowledge in manufacturing and quality processes and principles


* Prior machining experience


* Knowledge of measuring instruments and gages for their operation


* Read and interpret blueprints


* Understand the speeds and feeds pertaining to the machine they are operating (where applicable)


* Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:


* High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred


* Three or more years' experience in set up operation with a fastener manufacturing company.


* Ability to trouble-shoot and solve problems of the most advanced level.


* Must possess a working knowledge of ferrous and non-ferrous metals and their alloys.

Physical Demands:



* Use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.


* Frequently required to stand and sit.


* Occasionally required to walk and talk or hear.


* Frequently lifts and/or moves up to 30 pounds.


* Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
