Commercial Card Senior Product Associate - Payments

As a Senior Product Associate in Commercial Card, you contribute to the team by leveraging your expertise in product development and optimization to make a significant impact, supported by user research and customer feedback to fuel the creation of innovative products and continuously improve existing offerings.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and play a crucial role in shaping the future of our products and ongoing success.
Job responsibilities
* Partner with the Product Manager to identify new product opportunities that reflect the needs of our customers and the market through user research and discovery.
* Consider and plan for upstream and downstream implications of new product features on the overall product experience
* Support the collection of user research, journey mapping, and market analysis to inform the strategic product roadmap and provide insight on potential product features that provide value to customers
* Analyze, track, and evaluate product metrics including work to time, cost, and quality targets across the product development life cycle
* Assist in assessing financial performance of products and strategies
* Contribute to fact-based business assessments to identify opportunities and inform decisions
* Assist in analyzing contractual cost structures of key partners
* Communicate with internal and external partners to understand needs and priorities
* Stay informed about industry trends to identify areas of opportunity
* Deliver reporting that provides key insights into business performance
* Build visuals and narratives based on observed/measured data
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
* 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
* Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle
* Experience in product life cycle activities including discovery, requirements definition and business case development
* Developing knowledge of data analytics and data literacy
* Good communication skills to engage with team members and stakeholders
* Ability to develop collaborative relationships with partners
* Strong organizational skills to help manage successful execution
* Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
* Ability to work in a dynamic environment and manage ambiguity
* Working knowledge of SQL or Alteryx
* Comfortable in fluid, ambiguous environment
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
* Experience working in a matrixed organization
* Bachelor's degree in engineering, finance, business or similar experience
* Interest in the payments industry and willingness to learn
