Software Engineer III - UI Developer- React/Typescript/API/AWS

As a Software Engineer III at JPMorganChase within the CCB, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way.

You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives.

Job responsibilities


* Design, develop, and maintain user interfaces using React JS and TypeScript, and write test cases for UI components.


* Create wireframes and UI mockups.


* Collaborate with external partners, product teams, and business stakeholders to gather UI requirements.


* Engage in code reviews, pair programming, and ensure compliance with coding standards and best practices.


* Implement software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting, with the ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or resolve technical issues.


* Develop secure and high-quality production code and maintain algorithms that operate synchronously with relevant systems.


* Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications, ensuring that design constraints are met during software code development.


* Gather, analyze, synthesize, and develop visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets to continuously improve software applications and systems.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills



* Over 3 years of experience with TypeScript and React JS.


* More than 1 year of experience in API development using Python.


* Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts, along with over 3 years of practical experience.


* Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code within a large corporate environment using one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages.


* Strong understanding of agile methodologies, including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.


* Proven knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline, such as cloud computing, artificial intelligence, machine learning, or mobile technology.


* Proficient in API development (RESTful) and familiar with related tools like Postman and Swagger/OpenAPI.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills


* Familiar with modern front-end technologies.


* Knowledgeable in writing unit test cases using Jest and integration tests using Cypress.


* Exposure to cloud technologies.


* Familiar with AWS-based API development using Python, and AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, EC2, ECS, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, EventBridge, Step Functions, and others for designing and depl...
