Senior Underwriter, Excess Casualty

JOB DESCRIPTION



* Produce new business opportunities within the assigned underwriting territory (Schaumberg & Milwaukee)


* Evaluate, select, underwrite, price, quote and maintain new and renewal business.


* Develop and implement marketing plans with applicable commercial insurance managers,


* Achieve renewal retention of at least 90%


* Adhere to Chubb Commercial Insurance standards for underwriting, pricing and servicing.


* Work with other middle market teams on potential cross-sell and account round opportunities


* The individual will manage a new business pipeline.

This includes:
+ Prospecting and maintain prospecting pipeline at least 3x applicable new business goal
+ Maintaining relationships with key trading partners


* Driver's license, preferred
