Dietary Aide

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Dietary Aide to join our Culinary Department at Santa Cruz Post Acute.

In this role, you will be an essential part of ensuring our residents receive nutritious and appealing meals tailored to their individual needs.

Responsibilities


* Assist in the preparation and portioning of meals and snacks, following standardized recipes and menus.


* Check resident trays to ensure adherence to dietary preferences and accuracy.


* Prepare mechanical soft and pureed foods to the correct consistency according to recipe instructions.


* Wash dishes, sanitize kitchen equipment, and maintain a clean and safe food service environment.


* Follow all dietary safety and infection control procedures.

Qualifications


* Ability to read and understand instructions and recipes written in English.


* Experience in food handling and preparation is a plus.


* Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines.


* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


* Ability to work effectively in a team setting.
