Sales Manager-National Convention Centre

We’re always looking for new ways to raise the bar.

So we’re searching for a Sales Manager with a track record of driving sales and smashing targets to help us fill our event spaces.

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:



* Proactively securing new business from corporate, association, government, and entertainment markets.


* Managing and converting repeat events to ensure ongoing client loyalty.


* Applying strategic yield management to maximise profitability.


* Building strong relationships with clients, industry partners, and IHG sales teams to generate leads.


* Showcasing the NCCC through site inspections, familiarisations, and client entertainment.


* Monitoring market trends and competitor activity to keep our venue one step ahead.


* Representing NCCC at trade shows, networking events, and industry functions — both locally and interstate.

You’ll thrive in this role if you have:


* Proven experience in sales or business development — ideally in convention sales, large events, or hospitality.


* A track record of achieving (and exceeding) revenue targets.


* Strong networking and relationship-building skills.


* CRM experience and an understanding of yield and revenue management principles.


* Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.


* The flexibility to work outside standard business hours when events require it.
