Privacy Compliance Operations Lead

The Privacy Compliance Lead - Privacy Operations is responsible for managing the Privacy Operations team and ensuring the effective execution of the company's privacy compliance program.

This includes overseeing privacy request fulfillment, incident response, metrics reporting, audits, and documentation management.

The Lead will ensure that privacy operations are executed consistently and in alignment with regulatory requirements and internal standards.

This role requires strong leadership, operational rigor, and a deep understanding of privacy compliance frameworks.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS


* Lead and manage the Privacy Operations team, including hiring, coaching, and performance management.


* Oversee execution of privacy requests (e.g., access, deletion, correction) and ensure timely, accurate fulfillment.


* Manage intake and response to customer privacy inquiries and emails.


* Coordinate and oversee tracker audits and website privacy audits.


* Ensure timely follow-up and resolution of identified privacy risks.


* Lead policy and standards audits to ensure alignment with internal and external privacy requirements.


* Maintain and continuously improve the repository of documentation required for privacy compliance.


* Collaborate with Legal, IT, Security, and Compliance at the direction of the Chief Privacy Officer to ensure alignment on data protection practices.

Develop and implement compliance plans for all business lines and modalities for the company.

Collaborate with executive leadership to maintain effective privacy compliance programs.

The leader will serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for privacy compliance matters and educate and collaborate with leadership as well as business and division teams regarding the impact of existing, new, and changing requirements pertaining to privacy to help ensure compliance and mitigate risk.

* Bachelor's Degree in relevant field


* 4+ years of diversified leadership, communication, organization, and people motivation skills or equivalent experience


* 8+ years of professional experience


* 5+ years of experience in privacy compliance


* Strong leadership skills


* Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize analysis into compelling oral and written communications and presentations


* Excellent planning, organizing and follow-up skills with attention to detail and thorough documentation practices


* Ability to organize and prioritize work based on changing and challenging deadlines


* Highly collaborative individual, who has proven ability to work cross functionally and build strategic and mutually beneficial relationships at all levels of the organization


* Ability to be self-directed and work independently
