Overview

Our Housekeeping Leader is an expert in cleaning hotel rooms and making beds, so they can train a winning team.

This leader inspects what we expect, creates a positive environment where employees want to work for us, creating the SOPs to run the department in accordance with financial and service standards, ensuring supervisors are conducting inspections, creating the schedule, managing requests off, managing inventory, executing a clean hotel and guest experience.

This leader owns and ensures that the cleanliness standards of the guestrooms, meeting areas, public areas, and back-of-the-house are met through the optimal training, staffing, and supervision of labor, efficient management of operating supplies, and proactive monitoring of guest service scores and comments.

Directing necessary changes, training their team and holding their team accountable to the Westin Standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities


* Operate a department of excellence where employees are trained properly and execute our standards for the benefit of our guests and associates.


* Plan, organize, and monitor staff workload to ensure compliance with cleanliness and maintenance standards, which requires continuous visual and written inspections of guestrooms and public space areas.


* Employee relations experience, working through employee issues and resolving them to the satisfaction of the company and our team.


* Manage our housekeeping and laundry budget.


* Develop and implement controls for expense management.


* Conduct periodic inventory of guest supplies, small equipment and linen as required.


* Utilize labor management tools to schedule and control labor costs.
