Your Role: Global Supply Chain Intern
As a Global Supply Chain Intern, you will have the opportunity to explore a variety of areas of supply chain including global logistics, global supply chain strategy, global life cycle management, US affiliate supply chain, global center of excellence, and global supply chain manufacturing.
Your Responsibilities:
* Fulfill tasks, projects, and deliverables assigned by supervisor with high engagement and detailed focus.
* Develop professional relationships with colleagues, fellow interns, and any Elanco employee you may interact with.
* Ensure strong communication with supervisor and leadership via regular check-ins and continual reporting on project progress.
* Build your understanding of Elanco’s growing role in the animal health industry
What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):
* Education: Currently enrolled in undergrad studies or pursuing a master’s in supply chain, Industrial Management, Industrial Engineering and other engineering majors or MBA
* Strong analytical skills and problem solving
What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications):
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Excellent organizational and time management skills
* Proven to be self-motivated, with demonstrated high level of responsibility and professionalism
* Must be able to work exceptionally well independently and with minimal supervision
