What you'll do on a typical day:
* Develop spend data reports and analytics to assist in identifying savings initiatives to be executed by Procurement Category Managers
* Deliver monthly purchasing compliance reporting to the VP of AMAPAC Procurement including % of Spend on PO, % of Spend on Catalog, After the Fact PO %, etc.
* Validate monthly consolidated invoice reports to ensure procurement initiative savings are being captured from suppliers
* Liaise with employees across the US & CA to answer purchasing questions and solve issues with GXO's Procure-To-Pay System (Oracle Fusion)
* Work closely with Procurement Category Managers to operationalize the pricing of RFPs in GXO's Procure-To-Pay System
* Assist in the creation of end user training materials as they relate to Procurement processes
* Participate and provide appropriate expertise in cross-functional projects at GXO
What you need to succeed at GXO:
At a minimum, you'll need:
* Bachelor's degree in supply chain, finance, business management, or a related field, or equivalent related work or military experience
* 2 years of combined experience in a Procure-to-Pay role
* Experience working at a third-party logistics provider
* Solid experience with and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint)
It'd be great if you also have:
* Availability to travel 5-10% of the time
* Proficiency with Oracle Fusion
* Proficiency with PowerBI
* Visual Basic or other coding capabilities
