Position Summary

Central Contractors Service, Inc.

is seeking an Accounting Associate with solid general office skills.

This is a full-time, non-exempt position with comprehensive benefits in a casual office environment.

Essential Functions


* Answer incoming telephone calls and provide excellent customer service and receptionist duties


* Code documents according to company procedures


* Reconcile or note and report discrepancies found in records


* Match purchase and/or work order forms with invoices, and record the necessary information


* Ensure accurate tracking, monitoring and recording of all charges, records and other entries


* Various administrative tasks such as processing documents, faxing, filing and data entry


* Comply with generally accepted accounting principles and company policies and procedures


* Prepare daily, weekly & monthly invoices for rentals, parts & service


* Obtain and maintain rental agreements and addendums


* Obtain and maintain customer insurance requirements


* Assist sales staff with new customers – obtain quotes, credit applications, payment information


* Assist sales staff with customer inquiries and/or issues


* Provide assistance to Dispatcher – support in the daily activities of the drivers and delivery/pickup of rental equipment


* Provide assistance to the Aerial Lift Manager - parts orders, maintain inventory, daily activities of the mechanics


* Other duties assigned

Skills and Experience Requirements


* Strong initiative required; ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision


* Must have solid general office skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office


* Must be able to sit for extended periods of time


* Must be able to operate office equipment and technology
