The salary range(s) represents our good faith estimate for the role at this time.

* Engineer II Pay Range: $88,000 - $98,000


* Senior Engineer Pay Range: $106,500 - $123,700


* Senior Engineer II Pay Range: $123,700 - $135,000

Southwest Power Pool, Inc.

(SPP) is seeking an experienced and motivated Engineer – Transmission Services to lead the modeling and analysis of the SPP electrical Transmission System.

This role involves performing engineering analyses, coordinating special studies, and supporting the Transmission Services department in collaboration with SPP staff, members, and Tariff customers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Transmission System planning and the ability to apply engineering theory to real-world situations.

Key Responsibilities:


* Lead the modeling, analysis, and planning of the SPP electrical Transmission System


* Develop, maintain, and improve engineering processes, procedures, and planning techniques


* Collaborate with internal departments, vendors, consultants, SPP members, and Tariff customers to achieve Transmission Services objectives
