Job Summary

As the Director of Business Intelligence at Sundt, you will play a pivotal leadership role in shaping and executing the company's enterprise-wide analytics strategy.

Reporting to senior IT leadership and working closely with the Director of Data Engineering, you will lead a team of BI architects, analysts, and developers to deliver actionable insights that inform strategic decisions and operational improvements.

You will champion data-driven thinking across the organization by ensuring the delivery of accurate, timely, and relevant information through dashboards, self-service tools, and advanced analytics.

Your work will help translate raw data into clear narratives that empower leaders across all business units, ensuring alignment with Sundt's mission and long-term strategic goals.

This is a highly collaborative and visible role requiring both technical depth and a strong understanding of business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership and Enablement
• Provide strategic leadership for the Business Intelligence team, setting a clear vision and roadmap for enterprise analytics while fostering a high-performance culture centered on data integrity and excellence.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with key stakeholders, including the Director of Data Engineering, to align BI strategy with enterprise goals and ensure consistent data architecture and scalable practices.
• Champion a data-driven culture by promoting data literacy and self-service analytics across the organization to empower informed decision-making at all levels.

Analytics and Insight Delivery
• Lead the development and delivery of executive dashboards, KPIs, and advanced analytics to support strategic decision-making and drive business performance across the organization.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and visualization quality, applying best practices in validation and design to deliver trusted, actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Partner with operational leaders to translate business needs into scalable BI solutions, enabling real-time, self-service analytics and incorporating predictive models and machine learning where applicable.
