We are looking for our Monofocal IOL Platform Team a Senior Manager R&D  to join and lead our team in Groningen.

 

You will be responsible for:


* Leads, organizes and builds the functional area.


* Formulates plans, goals and budget, and implements these after approval.


* Analyzes business processes and procedures with main focus on own functional area and initiates new ways to optimize business processes in cooperation with other departments and teams.


* Leads multidisciplinary projects or complex new product introduction projects with significant business impact.


* Works collaboratively providing technical leadership to multi-disciplined, cross functional project teams developing new and innovative implant products with significant business impact. 


* Is internally and externally recognized as an expert and serves as a SME in multiple areas (design control, mechanical/optical design, manufacturing technologies, regulations).Contributes significantly to product requirements, and product design both independently and as part of a team.
