This Manager of Assembly Process Development will lead a team of R&D Development Engineers to deliver assembly processes and equipment to enable supply of Instruments & Accessories (I&A) for the Surgical Robotics platform.

Key Responsibilities:


* Lead R&D Equipment and Process Development Engineers focused on delivering key assembly stations and related innovations.

Provide functional management to equipment engineering staff.


* Seamlessly collaborate with all R&D functions, equipment suppliers, and manufacturing sites to bring full-scale production solutions from concept to market.


* Champion DFX and be the Voice of Development Engineering within the NPD teams.

Drive robustness and excellence in the DFX strategy for projects (Design for Assembly, Design for Manufacturing, Design for Cost).


* Investigate and enable new manufacturing technologies and process improvements, and standardize approach across the I&A portfolio to drive innovation and reduce time to market.


* Mentor and coach individuals to achieve their development goals and drive stronger business objectives.
