What are we looking for?

The Pipeline Welding/Coatings Lead Inspector (CWI or CPWI and NACE or AMPP Certified) Temporary, Full Time role will consist of pipeline mainline/maintenance inspections.

Shift/Schedule: Tentative work schedule is five 10-hour days, weekend availability may be required.

Expected project duration is 6-7 weeks.

Salary & Benefits Information

The base hourly wage for this position is $63.00 - $68.00.

Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.

There is also per diem available for this project.

What you'll do:


* Monitor the execution of welding work in progress and completed to ensure that it complies with the applicable codes, standards, and specific job requirements


* Perform inspections to applicable procedures and processes


* Conduct audits and surveillance of suppliers and organizations providing materials or services to the project


* Ensure the work performed and associated records are maintained and conform to the requirements of the applicable standards or other contract documents


* Inspection personnel should be familiar with nondestructive examination, fundamentals, techniques, and applicability, including:
+ Radiographic examination
+ Liquid penetrant examination
+ Magnetic Particle examination (Yoke and Prod techniques)
+ Visual examination
+ Leak testing/Hydro testing
+ Ultrasonic thickness measurement


* Inspection personnel should also be familiar with Destructive Testing fundamentals, techniques, and applicability including groove welds, fillet welds, stud welds, and weld ability testing.


* Validate proper ambient conditions are met during blasting / coatings operations.
