Purpose: We are seeking a highly skilled and driven individual to join the Analytical Development team within the R&D group as a senior scientist.

The Senior scientist will work as part of the team to provide analytical chemistry support and technical expertise in support of the development of new materials and products.  They will be working to develop, optimize, validate and transfer analytical methods by applying the latest scientific methodologies.  They will serve as an authority in the field of Analytical Chemistry and works toward predetermined long range, business strategies in creative and effective ways.

You will:


* Actively participating in project meetings related to the development of ocular medical device products and representing the Analytical R&D group on the team.

 


* Perform method development, optimization, validation and transfer activities.


* Participate in quality/compliance improvements, specifically measurement system analysis and measurement system improvement related to raw materials and clinical supply lenses.


* Perform Analytical R&D testing for raw materials and clinical supply lens products.
