Schedule:

Monday to Wednesday: 8:15 AM - 5:30 PM

Thursday: 9:15 AM - 6:30 PM

Friday: 8:15 AM - 5:30 PM

About the Role:
Wu Orthodontics is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Orthodontic Assistant to join our energetic and patient-focused team.

This role plays a key part in helping our patients achieve a lifetime of confident, healthy smiles.

Orthodontic assisting experience is preferred, but we are open to training the right candidate who is passionate about patient care and ready to grow in their career.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality orthodontic assisting support to the orthodontist

Take and process digital X-rays

Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all instruments and supplies are sterilized and organized

Educate patients and parents on orthodontic procedures and oral hygiene

Document treatment progress accurately in patient records

Maintain a clean and friendly clinical environment

Travel to support our Claremont and Sierra Madre offices as needed

Required Certifications:

X-ray Certification

Coronal Polishing Certificate

Dental Assistant Certificate

CPR Certification

Preferred Qualifications:

Bilingual (Spanish ) preferred

Previous orthodontic or pediatric dental assisting experience

A flexible, reliable, and team-oriented attitude

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Additional Information:
This position may require occasional travel to nearby partner offices in Claremont and Sierra Madre.

Travel reimbursement is not provided.

Requirements



* A minimum of a high school degree or equivalent is required.


* An Orthodontist Assistant state certification, included but not limited to, nitrous oxide, dental radiology, and expanded function dental assistant (EFDA) or expanded duties dental assistant (EDDA).


* CPR certification

Job related experience:


* Experience working in a professional, medical, or dental environment with direct customer service is desired.


* A minimum of 1-year orthodontic assisting experience.
