Are you creative, compassionate, and passionate about making a difference in the lives of seniors? Midtown Oaks Post Acute is seeking a dynamic Activities Director to lead our Life Enrichment Program and bring joy, engagement, and purpose to our residents every day.

What You'll Do:
As our Activities Director, you'll be responsible for developing, organizing, and leading a variety of individual and group activities designed to meet the physical, mental, emotional, and social needs of our residents.

Your creativity and compassion will help create a vibrant, person-centered experience.

Responsibilities Include:


* Plan and implement daily, weekly, and monthly activity calendars


* Coordinate recreational, educational, cultural, and spiritual programs


* Organize special events, outings, and resident celebrations


* Encourage participation and adapt activities to meet resident interests and abilities


* Maintain accurate records, participation logs, and care plan documentation


* Supervise and mentor activities assistants and volunteers


* Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to support resident well-being

Qualifications:


* Previous experience as an Activities Director or in a similar role in a skilled nursing or senior care setting preferred


* Knowledge of MDS/State activity documentation and regulations a plus


* Ability to lead engaging, age-appropriate group and one-on-one activities


* Excellent communication, time management, and interpersonal skills


* Certified Activity Director (or willingness to obtain certification) preferred


* Passion for enriching the lives of the elderly
