Your Role: Senior Finance Associate

As a Senior Finance Associate, you will be a key contributor to the Elanco Corporate Accounting and Reporting (ECAR) team.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for advancing global consolidation, internal financial reporting, and top-level accounting.

You will also support process improvements and special projects across corporate functions.

Your Responsibilities:


* Oversee and manage aspects of the month-end close and global consolidation process


* Own and track top-level journal entries and support internal consolidated financial statements


* Prepare monthly SOX deliverables and quarterly/year-end reporting schedules


* Collaborate with affiliates and corporate functions to resolve accounting issues and ensure policy compliance


* Contribute to process improvement efforts to streamline global accounting and reporting activities
 

What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):



* Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance


* Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a Finance/Accounting function or public accounting with US GAAP knowledge


* Top 2 skills: Consolidation and ledger accuracy, cross-functional collaboration
 

What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications):


* CPA or Chartered Accountant designation


* Experience with SAP GA module and Business Objects


* Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills with proven analytical abilities


* High learning agility and attention to detail


* Ability to prioritize and deliver under pressure in a deadline-driven environment
