Embedded Finance Product Associate - Payments - Senior Associate

As a Senior Product Associate in Embedded Finance & Solutions, you contribute to the team by leveraging your expertise in product development and optimization to make a significant impact, supported by user research and customer feedback to fuel the creation of innovative products and continuously improve existing offerings.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and play a crucial role in shaping the future of our products and ongoing success.

Job responsibilities


* Taking a product or feature from conception to successful market adoption.


* Fortify design and client focus to build product experience with the end-to-end client journey in mind.


* Coordinating with Operations and Technology to deliver strategic solutions.


* Identify priorities and manage multiple workstreams coordinating activities across departments.


* Ensure all risk management, legal, control, and compliance activities are done in line with JPMC standards in advance of product launch.


* Track project progress and report effectively on status, blockers and changes.

Accountable for creating, maintaining and communicating schedules, scorecards and plans.


* Track resourcing of projects and drive resource balancing between different program priorities.


* Leverage subject matter expertise in driving conversations and/or influencing decisions/direction with Business, Technology and functional partners.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills


* 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area.


* Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle.


* Experience in product life cycle activities including discovery and requirements definition.


* Technical aptitude to allow for strong partnership on API first approach.


* Developing knowledge of data analytics and data literacy.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills


* Demonstrated ability to work in a highly matrixed program delivery structure.


* Demonstrated ability to meet growth metrics and client/partner development objectives, specifically for emerging businesses versus mature financial services products.


* Strong knowledge of emerging financial services technologies with a key emphasis on APIs, private labeling, SaaS models, and design thinking practices.


* Understanding of the global payments industry.
