Your Role:

As a Technical Consultant, you will be a vital link between Elanco and the Portuguese pet health market, providing expert technical support and information to drive sales growth.

You will empower veterinary professionals through training and education, championing Elanco's product portfolio while ensuring compliance with ethical and regulatory guidelines.

You will also serve as a key technical advisor, supporting marketing strategies, product innovation, and enhancing customer satisfaction.

Your Responsibilities:


* Drive Sales Growth: Drive sales and achieve business results through customer-focused execution, key account management in expansion markets, and implementation of field marketing activities.

This includes identifying and addressing customer needs and incorporating Elanco's product portfolio as part of the solution.


* Provide Technical Leadership & Training: Develop and deliver technical training programs for Elanco's sales, KAM, and marketing teams on products, therapeutic areas, and competitive analysis.

Represent the business unit at the highest technical level regionally and globally.


* Cultivate Key Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, influencers, and opinion leaders.

Transfer key messages and scientific information about Elanco products, give technical presentations, and represent the "voice of the customer" to Elanco management and marketing.


* Support Marketing Strategies: Monitor competitor products, provide technical input and recommendations to marketing managers, and support the development of marketing strategies and activities.


* Ensure Product Safety & Knowledge: Monitor, answer, and report adverse drug events.

Routinely review scientific literature, identify relevant publications (including adverse events and complaints), provide commentary, and distribute key findings.
