? Position Summary

We are seeking a creative, energetic, and compassionate Activities Assistant to join our team.

This role is vital in enhancing the quality of life for our residents through engaging recreational programs and social activities.

?️ Key Responsibilities


* Assist in planning and implementing daily, weekly, and monthly activity programs tailored to residents' interests and abilities.


* Encourage resident participation and provide one-on-one engagement when needed.


* Help set up and clean up activity areas.


* Document resident attendance and feedback.


* Collaborate with nursing and therapy staff to ensure activities align with care plans.


* Support special events, outings, and holiday celebrations.

? Qualifications


* High school diploma or equivalent.


* Experience in a healthcare or senior living setting preferred.


* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.


* Ability to motivate and engage residents with diverse needs.


* CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).


* Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and assist with mobility as needed.
