The ideal Registered Nurse candidate for this position should possess excellent time management, superior organization skills, be an exceptional communicator, and with some understanding of Long-Term Care regulations.

What You'll Do

As the Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON), you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring quality care and fostering a positive environment for patients, families, and staff.

Your key responsibilities will include:


* Monitoring patient care to ensure treatments and medications are administered as ordered.


* Conducting daily rounds to maintain up-to-date knowledge of patient status.


* Supporting the Director of Nursing in managing nursing services in a team-oriented setting.


* Providing leadership to nursing staff through training, mentoring, and performance evaluations.


* Ensuring compliance with nursing standards and long-term care regulations.


* Developing and implementing policies and procedures to promote high-quality care.


* Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to achieve patient care goals.


* Maintaining adequate supplies and equipment to support nursing operations.

Qualifications


* Tennessee RN License: Required and in good standing.


* Leadership Skills: Strong organizational and communication abilities.


* Team Player: Compassionate and committed to patient care excellence.


* Experience: Previous leadership experience in LTC/SNF preferred but not required.
