Full Stack Developer - Mid Level

KeyLogic is seeking a Mid-Level Full Stack Developer who will play a crucial role in supporting an IT software development project aimed at creating the next generation of applications for our federal client.

The ideal candidate will need to adapt quickly, learn new skills, and provide valuable support to a high-performing development team. 

Job Requirements: 


* 2+ years software development


* Experience with java/.NET front-end user interface / backend interface development, including translating requirements into code and implementing mockups


* Experience with HTML/CSS, including knowledge of cross-browser compatibility, responsive web design, CSS preprocessors such as Sass or LESS, and frameworks/libraries such as Bootstrap, Foundation, or the US Web Design Standards; in API Gateways, Service Mesh implementations


* Experience with developing API/Microservices based solutions and Integration using streaming platforms like Kafka


* Extensive knowledge and experience of JavaScript, including the use of frameworks such as React or Angular


* Experience with version control systems, such as git.

Perform design and code reviews.


* Experience with test automation, DevSecOps toolchains, and TDD practices in an Agile delivery environment.


* Testing cross-browser, cross-platform, and/or cross-device compatibility.


* Experience with continuous integration (CI)/continuous deployment (CD) pipelines and container platforms in private or public cloud environments, using technologies including Jenkins, Apache Subversion, Ansible, Puppet, AWS CloudForms, RedHat OpenShift, and Docker Enterprise


* Experience writing and executing automated unit tests; Experience writing and performing 508 tests


* BA or BS degree in Computer Science or related field


* Ability to obtain a security clearance

 
Preferred Requirements:


* Experience in mobile application development


* Experience with Cloud-native development using microservices.


* Experience with cloud-computing services, such as Amazon Web Services or Google Cloud Platform


* Experience with strategic planning, process improvement, or performance management


* Possession of excellent critical thinking skills


* Possession of excellent oral and written communications skills


* Possession of excellent interpersonal, team, and relationship-building skills


* Knowledge of Section 508 compliance


* Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
