For this U.S.

based position, the expected compensation range is $96,000 - 144,000 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.

The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States.

Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level.

Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training

About the Role

Schneider Electric is looking for a skilled and experienced Project Engineer to join our team.

In this role, you'll be the on-site technical lead for building automation projects, ensuring smooth installation, commissioning, and turnover of HVAC, security, and other building systems.

You'll work closely with customers, contractors, and internal teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet project goals.

This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in building systems and a desire to grow into project or construction management.

What You'll Do


* Lead on-site commissioning activities and coordinate the work of other team members.


* Serve as the primary technical contact on-site, representing the project team in meetings with customers, contractors, and commissioning agents.


* Maintain accurate field documentation, including work tickets and customer approvals for additional work.


* Review field changes and assist in preparing change order proposals and cost estimates.


* Attend project coordination and commissioning meetings as needed.


* Prepare project close-out documentation and support the transition from project delivery to ongoing service.


* Lead advanced commissioning efforts, including Level 4 or IQ/OQ-grade testing.


* Manage multiple teams and ensure alignment across trades and disciplines.


* Develop or adjust sequences of operations based on customer input and project requirements.
