Asset Recovery Assistant, Operations Center, Onalaska WI

Altra Federal Credit Union is a dynamic and forward-thinking financial institution dedicated to providing exceptional service to our members.

We are currently seeking an Asset Recovery Assistant to join our team and place a crucial role in safeguarding our financial interests.

As an Asset Recovery Assistant, you will work with our Asset Recovery Specialist to assist them with their day-to-day administrative tasks.

This can include, but is not limited to:


* Answering emails


* Sending requested documents and information to parties requesting information


* Processing payments and checks


* Running reports


* Uploading invoices


* Answering telephone calls, as needed


* And any other administrative work that may be involved for the Asset Recovery team to run efficiently.

Qualifications


* High School diploma or equivalent required.


* Some post high school education is preferred but not required.


* Basic experience with foreclosures, repossessions, and bankruptcies is preferred.


* Experience in the financial industry is preferred.


* Must have the ability to communicate effectively with members, coworkers, and management.


* Ability to work under pressure.


* Must have excellent attention to detail, strong decision making and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to work independently.


* Good computer skills including some experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Availability


* This position is full-time, 40-hours a week, Monday through Friday.


* Typical hours are 8:00 a.m.

to 5:00 p.m.

Work Environment


* The Asset Recovery Assistant position is located at the Operations Center in Onalaska, WI.


* However, blended / hybrid opportunities can be available after 3-6 months of employment, once successfully completing all position-specific training, demonstration of consistent and satisfactory work performance and have approved workspace and high-speed internet access.
