Design Sales Associate

TileBar is seeking an enthusiastic, service-driven Showroom Design Consultant to join our Paramus, NJ, showroom team.

In this client-facing role, you'll work directly with homeowners, designers, contractors, and installers—providing expert design advice and delivering a premium customer experience from concept to purchase.

We offer a competitive compensation package that includes a strong base salary plus commission incentives.

What You'll Do


* Customer Engagement: Be the face of TileBar—answering questions, solving problems, and ensuring each client feels valued and supported.


* Design Consultation: Curate materials and recommend products tailored to residential and commercial projects.

Create stunning custom room packages and mood boards.


* Sales & Order Management: Manage the end-to-end sales process—including quoting, sample requests, and order fulfillment—while keeping everything organized in our CRM.


* Product Expertise: Maintain deep knowledge of TileBar's products, staying current on trends and installation methods to deliver exceptional guidance.


* Team Collaboration: Partner with team members across departments to ensure smooth operations, timely deliveries, and consistent brand standards.


* Client Relationships: Build and nurture long-term customer relationships to drive loyalty and repeat business.


* Brand Representation: Serve as a brand ambassador in all interactions, upholding TileBar's culture, values, and customer-first mission.

What You Bring


* Experience: 3-5 years of sales or customer service experience, ideally in retail, showroom, or luxury sales.


* Industry Knowledge: Experience in tile, natural stone, textiles, furniture, or building materials is a plus.


* Customer Focus: You love helping people and have a proven track record of exceeding sales goals through consultative, design-led service.


* Tech Savvy: Comfortable with Microsoft Office; familiarity with systems like Salesforce, SalesPad, or Magento is a bonus.


* Team Player: You're self-motivated, collaborative, and thrive in a fast-paced, high-performing environment.


* Adaptable: Willing to work retail hours, including weekends and occasional evenings or events.

Other Details


* High School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree preferred


* Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.


* Occasional travel for events, training, or showroom support
