Infrastructure Engineering Senior Advisor - Evernorth Health Services

Job Summary

The Infrastructure Engineer Senior Advisor is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing digital workplace solutions that enhance productivity, collaboration, and user experience.

This role focuses on leveraging Microsoft technologies-including Microsoft 365, Azure, and Microsoft Copilot-to create secure, scalable, and efficient digital environments that support hybrid and remote work models.
Responsibilities


* Design, deploy, and manage modern workplace solutions using Microsoft 365, Azure Active Directory, and related tools.


* Develop and implement strategies for integrating Generative AI tools, including Microsoft 365 Copilot.


* Collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure seamless integration of workplace technologies.


* Analyze workflows and recommend improvements to enhance user experience and productivity.


* Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability.


* Provide training and support to end-users on workplace tools and best practices.


* Ensure compliance with organizational security policies and regulatory standards.


* Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation.

Qualifications
Required:


* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.


* 7 or more years of experience in IT infrastructure or workplace engineering.


* Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, Exchange Online), Azure services, and device management tools (e.g., Intune, SCCM).


* Strong understanding of IT security principles, including identity management, MFA, and data loss prevention.


* Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.


* Relevant certifications such as:
+ Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
+ Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert

Preferred:


* Experience with scripting and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell).


* Familiarity with workplace analytics and productivity measurement tools.


* Advanced certifications such as:
+ Microsoft Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert
+ ITIL Foundation Certification


* Knowledge of Zero Trust frameworks and their application in workplace environments.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
