A Brief Overview

The Preventative Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of production equipment and systems by executing regular cleaning, sanitization, and maintenance tasks.

This role involves leading efforts to prevent biofilm in equipment, tanks and appurtenances, conduct sanitization validations, and ensure compliance with sanitization protocols in collaboration with the Compounding and Production teams.

The technician will also manage inventory, maintain accurate documentation, and mentor new staff while fostering a culture of teamwork, safety, and operational efficiency.

What you will do
•    Lead the execution of biofilm prevention/removal, cleaning, and sanitization tasks in conjunction with the Compounding and Production teams.

Follow detailed preventative plans for activities such as Biofilm prevention/Removal, 90°C Purified Water Sanitization, Passivation, and Chlorine Sanitization.

Ensure the effectiveness and compliance of sanitization activities by conducting validations.
•    Exhibit mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair equipment as necessary.

Ensure equipment is in optimal condition and properly maintained to prevent downtime and support production efficiency.
•    Strategically plan and schedule activities to ensure alignment with production and compounding schedules.

Coordinate cleaning tasks to minimize disruption to ongoing production processes.
•    Maintain and update comprehensive cleaning logbooks and documentation.

Manage and analyze spreadsheet data to track cleaning activities, maintenance schedules, and inventory levels.
