As a Senior Lead Software Engineer at JPMorganChase within the Consumer & Community Banking Self-Service Enablement team, you are an integral part of an agile team that works to enhance, build, and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way.

Job responsibilities


* Lead the development and implementation of agentic applications using LLMs


* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and deploy scalable and resilient applications


* Ensure strong observability and monitoring of applications to maintain high performance and reliability


* Deploy applications on AWS, ensuring optimal configuration and security


* Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence


* Drive continuous improvement in development processes and practices


* Engage with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs


* Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and standards


* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner


* Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation


* Contribute to the strategic direction of the Self-Service Enablement team

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills


* Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience


* Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability


* Proficient programming skills in at least one language such as Java or Python


* In-depth knowledge of agentic applications using LLMs


* Experience in deploying applications on AWS


* Proven track record in building and designing scalable, resilient applications with strong observability


* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment


* Excellent communication and collaboration skills


* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field


* 5 plus years of experience in software development and leadership roles
