Physical Therapist - Acute Care Float

Work Schedule:

100% FTE, 40 hours/week.

8-hour day shifts scheduled Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.

Weekend and annual holiday rotation required.

Hours may vary based on the operational needs of department.

We are seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) with acute care experience to:


* Provide consultative and rehabilitative treatment services to complex patients admitted to American Family Children's Hospital, East Madison Hospital, and University Hospital in acute care settings.


* Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to create comprehensive evidence-based treatment plans to maximize functional outcomes and discharge plans.


* Work within the context of patient- and family- centered care in a primary and specialty care academic medical center.

Qualifications


* Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy Required

Work Experience


* Two (2) years prior relevant experience Preferred

Licenses and Certifications


* Licensure as a Physical Therapist in the State of Wisconsin Required


* Basic Life Support (BLS) within three months Required
