Commissioning Engineer

Schneider Electric has an exciting opportunity for a Commissioning Engineer to join our established team in Yorkshire.

You'll support the installation and commissioning of Building Management Systems (BMS), including software, graphics, and integration work.
Key Responsibilities


* Ensure safe working practices on-site and in the office, following Schneider Electric's H&S systems.


* Pre-commission and commission control panels, field devices, and networks.


* Integrate third-party systems into existing BMS.


* Develop and commission controller software and graphical user interfaces.


* Handover completed systems to customers/consultants.


* Support project managers with installation design and management.


* Build strong relationships with customers, becoming a trusted expert.


* Configure and commission graphics, document progress, and assist with O&M manuals.

About You


* Background in electrical engineering or a related field is beneficial.


* Previous commissioning experience is advantageous, but training is provided.


* Understanding of HVAC control principles.


* Customer-focused with strong teamwork and independent working skills.


* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).


* Fluent in English (written and verbal).


* Full UK driving license required.
