AR Cash Application Specialist

Ardurra is seeking an AR Applicant Specialist to join our team in either our Miami or Tampa, Florida office.

Primary Function

To be a part of the Accounts Receivable team processing a high-volume of payments for multiple companies within our organization.

Primary Duties


* Daily deposits entries for multiple bank accounts with multiple companies


* Communicate with Project Team about billing discrepancies and questions


* Engage management over any AR problems you encounter


* Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices


* Assist in month end closing


* Assist with other projects as needed

Education and Experience Requirements


* High School Diploma required, college courses in accounting preferred and 3+ years of bookkeeping experience.


* Proficient in Microsoft 365 products with an emphasis on Excel.


* Familiarity with Deltek preferred.


* Strong problem-solving skills, basic accounting principles knowledge, documentation skills, research and resolution skills, data analysis and multi-tasking skills.


* Thorough knowledge of applicable AR/AP/GL systems and procedures.


* Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.


* Ability to interact in a professional manner


* Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high-volume environment with an emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.
