Overview

The Groundskeeper will maintain the cleanliness, safety, and aesthetic appearance of the entire grounds.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Inspects and Maintain entire grounds and buildings for debris or hazards and corrects or reports them on the spot.
• Perform operational and safety checks on all grounds equipment before operating .
• Always utilizes proper use of personal safety equipment.
• Sweeps roadside, walkways, and gutters.

Ensure all flower beds are clean.
• Replaces burned out or broken light bulbs and fixtures.
• Performs necessary masonry repairs.
• Assist the engineers as needed.
• Empties public trash receptacles.

Replaces trash can liners.
• Must be willing to work weekends and holidays
• Other duties as assigned

MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:
1.

Respond to any reasonable task as assigned by supervisor or manager.
2.

Snow shoveling as necessary.

ENVIRONMENT:
Works in all areas of the property, both inside and outside possible in inclement weather.

Must be able to work at various heights on ladders, roofs, etc.
