Sales Engineer
Summary
Provide sales, service and technical support for a defined sales territory.
Develop new business through execution of territory sales strategies.
Responsible for meeting sales and expense budget objectives.
Essential Functions

* Responsible for achieving the sales budget for a defined group of customers.
* Manage and grow business while maintaining expenses within budget.
* In response to customer's needs, develops applications and prepares quotations.
* Ability to resolve customer problems and issues.
* Drive regional, corporate account business strategies and new product introductions.
* Provide business update to management as required.
* Provides product, installation and application training for end users.
* Conducts product and technology seminars to educate customers.
* Act as liaison between Lewis Systems & Service Co.
and its customer base.
* When necessary, may be called upon to deliver product to the user.
* Conforms to all Lewis Systems & Service Co.
Standard Operating Policies and Procedures.
* Employee works under general direction and supervision.
Work is reviewed for soundness of judgment, accuracy and conformance with regular meetings and annual business plan.
* Represents the organization in providing solutions associated with the sale and marketing of Lewis Systems & Service Co.
products.
* Through previous performance, must have demonstrated superior Conceptual, Technical, People, and Organizational Skills plus a Strong Work Ethic.

* Excellent presentation and communication skills.
* Must have or be capable of developing strong technical knowledge of Lewis Systems & Service Co.

* Strong customer service skills.
* Ability to communicate effectively with management, operations, engineering and maintenance personnel
* Knowledge of manufacturing process flow.
* Ability to work under pressure and rapidly changing priorities.
Travel
* Daily travel by automobile is expected for this position.
Occasional travel by plane for training.
Required Education and Experience
* High School Diploma or Equivalent
* Minimum 1 - 3 years of experience in industrial sales and/or management
Preferred Education and Experience
BA, BS degree preferred
